When you want to enjoy some of God’s most beautiful country this Easter season, Zion National Park is the way to go. This is some of the most beautiful land you will find not only in Utah but in all of the United States. Even if you’ve been here before, there is more to see and do and it’s breathtaking just to spend time soaking up all that nature has to offer.
Zion relates to the Bible in many ways. It’s mentioned 154 times in the Hebrew Bible. Typically it refers to Jerusalem and the land of Israel. It is sometimes referred to as Mount Zion, a particular mountain near Jerusalem.
Zion is also used as a metaphor for the Promised Land or any distant and wanted goal or promised land. It’s no surprise then that the national park in Utah got the name of Zion. It’s about as close to promised lands as you can find on Earth today. The lush beauty of it all will have you thinking you’ve entered someplace else.
If you’re looking for a great place to visit or take your family for Easter, consider Zion National Park. You can visit some of the amazing park trails and see nature in its true habitat. You can explore hiking trails for more of a challenging path through the park, provided all of your party is up for it. You can enjoy camping, bird watching, scenic tours, activities for the children and so much more.
